Meet the band

The Critics are an original alternative rock band influenced by the sound of the early 2000’s, including bands such as The Strokes, Radio Head, and Arctic Monkeys. Their raw and introspective lyrics paired with their melodic but edgy rock sound is like meeting a melancholy version of the Foo Fighters. They are passionate and dedicated to their art, having fun playing for their fans and aspiring to be heard around the globe.
In less than 2 years The Critics have accomplished the release of their debut album “Miserable & Melodramatic”, have played tons of live shows, won Fernstock Battle of the Bands, and have premiered their first music video for their lead single “The Noise” which is being played on the radio airways across the US. “The driving vibes of The Critics on their latest track "The Noise" takes the listener on a rock journey of gritty yearning. With a sound both new and nostalgic, they're truly a band to watch.” Sabina Gallier, KSLG Program Director/ Music Director/ Morning Host.
The band just premiered their first professional music video “Where U Went” directed, filmed, edited, and produced by Justin Grimaldo. It features actress Jasmine Younger. Make sure to visit the bands YouTube site to see both music videos and clips of live shows.
All four band members have made music front and center of their career ambitions. Sergio Ramirez, Vocals/Guitar, also contributes to the band as the lyricist, music composure, and producer. Joshua Fuller, Guitar, is the mixing engineer, music composer, and producer. Ethan Fuller, Drums, is a music composer and social media manager. Aaron Soli, Bass, is also a music composer. The band is currently focused on promoting their recent album, expanding their fan base, writing new music, and performing at multiple events in the coming months. They will be recording a new EP in October and a new album in 2024.
