Critics highlights
- Original alternative rock band from Humboldt County, CA. Debut album released in 2023. Three singles followed in 2024. In 2025 they have released Mascara and Town Heroes. Their second album, Aviator, will release in November.

Biography
The Critics are an original alternative rock band from Humboldt County, California, influenced by the sound of the early 2000’s, including bands such as The Strokes, Radiohead, and Arctic Monkeys. Their ambition stems from a desire to develop and produce songs that resonate within the alternative scene.
The Critics have accomplished the release of their debut album “Miserable & Melodramatic”, have released 5 singles since and have developed their performance capabilities to best emulate the bands they have taken after through performing more than 70 shows.
The Critics have garnered critical acclaim from the North Coast Journal winning the award ‘Original Band of the Year'. In 2023 they took home 1st place out of more than 15 bands at ‘Fernstock Battle of the Bands’ with the prize of $5,000. The band opened for the renowned 1990s group Everclear and is actively seeking more opportunities to open for larger acts in order to gain experience and advance their desired career.
All four band members have made music front and center of their career ambitions. Sergio Ramirez, the front man and guitarist also contributes as a producer and social media manager. Joshua Fuller, Guitar, is the mixing engineer, music composer, and producer. Ethan Fuller, Drums, is a music composer. Aaron Soli, Bass, is also a music composer. The four have been close friends since early years of highschool and learned their instruments together which has been said to be visible in their performances.
The band finished recording their releases for 2025 in February of this year. Mascara was released in May, Town Heroes released in September, and the singles for their album will be released in a waterfall to lead to their second album "Aviator" set to release in November 2025.
